I’m fascinated by great storytellers and I think Ira Glass is one of the most prolific of our time. Ira produces a weekly radio show for Chicago Public Radio called This American Life that picks a theme for each episode and tells a variety of stories on that theme. In this video from the GEL conference he talks about the power of narrative, the importance of humor and ‘bait’ in storytelling, and creating suspense through motion.
