Suffix was one of my favorite bands that we played with on tour. They are a female fronted screamo band in the vein of La Quiete, Suis la Lune, etc. Their sound is intricate, melodic, a bit noodley and completely cohesive which makes me think they must listen to a bunch of european screamo bands.
I love albums where you can hear the vocalists voice straining and cracking while they try to hold out their yell. When she yells “You’re wearing me out” on the first track, Oh; Hey Der, Margie, and her voice begins to strain, it’s so good.
Suffix has a bunch of upcoming releases including a full length this September. Get pumped on them.

ps. I just remembered I took some videos of them when we played together. I’ll post them up soon. I just need to wade through all of our tour footage first. ugh.
