Today I:

Saw a lady squatted by her car next my office building crying her eyes out.

Saw a man asleep on the sidewalk with a GIANT stream of snot falling out of his nose and rolling down his shirt.

Saw a newly hired secretary get a compliment from a leading partner of a huge law firm and she nearly had a heart attack because she was so excited.

Saw some dude blasting Millencolin from his car today as I rode my bike home from work and it made my day better.

+  Charm City Art Space’s 1000th show

Tomorrow Charm City Art Space will throw it’s 1000th show.  The bands that will be playing are a secret but I assume they’ll be bigger bands that have come through CCAS before they got big.  Should be fun.  Show starts at 7.

+ My Boyhood Dream

Not really, but kind of.  If the house was actually built around a tree and had secret passage ways then it would really be every kid’s dream actualized.

More on The Tree House HERE.

+ Pencil Face

Pencil Face is a short film directed by Christian Simmons about a creepy little girl hanging out on a playground with an over sized pencil that happens to have a face – and also happens to have the power to sketch objects into existence.

It reminds me of The Shining + Donnie Darko because of the foreboding music and low-angled camera shots.

I’m not sure why I haven’t seen this video until now.  The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are fucking good.

This is taken directly from Constant Siege because he pretty much sums up why this video rules.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs ‘Y-Control’ music video, 2004, directed by Spike Jonze (via phantasmagasm)

Karen O babysitting a bunch of prom-dressed little terror kids, check. Little Asian Dracula boy, check. Kids carrying around a dead dog body, check. Axe amputations, check. Disemboweling, check.

Why aren’t you watching yet?”

ps.  DANI, there’s a little Asian vampire in this video for you.
